International Clara & Robert Schumann Competition

The International Clara and Robert Schumann Competition offers young pianists from all over the world aged between 8 and 25 the chance to showcase their talent and compete in an inspiring musical environment in two categories. This competition, organised by the Friends and Sponsors of the Rubinstein Academy e.V., is a special opportunity to demonstrate musical ability and familiarise oneself with the works of the Schumanns. The competition will take place from 10 to 12 March 2026 at the Palais Wittgenstein in Düsseldorf.
